MP Tournament

Gill must bring 1 adult Volunteer for every 2 students Registered in the Tournament. THAT MEANS YOU!!
Please notify Charlotte or Lydia as to which Game you will Supervise during your student’s Tournament.  Additional volunteer positions such as “Snack Bar” & “Check-In” are also needed.
The Math Pentathlon Institute provides “Volunteer Orientation” Sessions for Adults interested in learning more about their responsibilities as a Tournament Volunteer. Follow the link to the left for more information.

Gill will also provide families with a Practice Tournament & Orientation Session. Watch your email & FPS-LISTSERV announcing a Practice Tournament & Parent Tournament Orientation Session to be scheduled for early March.  During this evening meeting at Gill, adults will be introduced to ‘what to expect at the Tournament’, including Game Supervisor Responsiblities. Student will participate in a Mock-Tournament as practice for their actual DIV Tournaments.

From this point until Tournament dates, weekly practice sessions will be reserved for students participating in their Division Tournaments.  Please notify Charlotte & Lydia if your student will be in the Tournament so that Teachers/MP Leaders will allow them to remain in the after school sessions. If your student is not on the updated after school 'list' generated by Gill, they will be sent home instead of attending these sessions.
